These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Immigration Copilot, an AI-powered petition drafting platform for immigration attorneys, operated by Immigration Copilot ("Company," "we," or "us").

By accessing or using our service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

1. Service Description

Immigration Copilot provides AI-assisted tools for immigration attorneys to prepare EB1A (Extraordinary Ability) and O-1 visa petitions. The platform assists with document classification, knowledge base generation, petition draft creation, and AI-assisted editing.

2. Attorney Responsibility

Immigration Copilot generates draft legal documents to assist licensed attorneys. All generated content must be reviewed, verified, and approved by a licensed immigration attorney before use in any USCIS filing. Immigration Copilot does not constitute legal advice.

Attorneys using Immigration Copilot remain solely responsible for all legal work product, including the accuracy and completeness of any USCIS filings prepared using the platform. The platform is a productivity tool — it does not replace attorney judgment, analysis, or professional responsibility.

3. No Unauthorized Practice of Law

Immigration Copilot is a software tool, not a law firm. We do not provide legal advice, legal representation, or attorney-client services. The AI-generated content is draft material only. All use of AI-generated content in legal proceedings requires review by a licensed attorney.

4. Data Ownership

You retain all rights to documents you upload and content generated through the platform. By using the service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process your data solely to provide the service. We do not claim ownership of your documents, knowledge bases, or petition drafts.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the platform to prepare filings for USCIS without attorney review
  • Upload documents you do not have authorization to process
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer or extract our AI models or prompts
  • Use the service to prepare filings in visa categories not supported by the platform
  • Share your account credentials with non-attorneys or unauthorized personnel

6. Accuracy Disclaimer

AI-generated petition content is produced by language models and may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies. We take steps to minimize hallucinations through multi-stage validation, but we make no warranty that AI-generated content is accurate, complete, or suitable for any particular USCIS filing. All content must be independently verified by a licensed attorney.

7. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IMMIGRATION COPILOT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO USCIS DENIALS, RFES, OR ADVERSE OUTCOMES RELATED TO FILINGS PREPARED USING THE PLATFORM.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE THREE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated by email to account holders at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
